Sub:Inviting Expression of Interest (EOI) for Fair Participation during 2020-21 – Reg.
The outbreak of Virus epidemic in our neighbouring country and the resultant supply chain disturbances has brought in both new challenges and opportunities for our exporters in the season ahead. Members may swiftly explore all available marketing opportunities and support the collective global effort to mitigate disruption in global supply chains by increasing supplies of products where we have available capacity..
In such a global trade scenario, Council proposes to organise participation in the following events during 2020-21 under various schemes across the globe and in this context, invites Expression of Interest (EOI) for participation from Registered Textile exporters / Members along with advance payment as indicated in remarks column Please note that your early confirmation will facilitate Council towards confirming a better location with fair authority

Terms and Condition:
1. Proposals for above events have been submitted to the Ministry and the approval is awaited.
2. Application has to be submitted in prescribed format (Expression of Interest Form for fair participation) downloadable from Council's website (https://www.hepcindia.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Application_form_for_EOI_Expression_of_Interest.pdf)
3. Application has to be submitted along with a non-refundable deposit as prescribed in above table which can be adjusted against further payment of participation charges towards participation in the event.
4. Payment has to be made through any one of the following mode of payment.
Option-1: Online payment through payment gateway https://www.onlinesbi.com/sbicollect/icollecthome.htm?corpID=619676
Option-2: Payment through RTGS
Option-3: Payment through Demand Draft/at par multicity cheque in favour of Handloom Export Promotion Council payable at Chennai, if online/RTGS payment is not feasible.

Amount once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance except cancellation of fair participation by HEPC.
5. Application received without above deposit amount will be invalid.
6. Application for participation will be considered on First Come First Serve basis and on fulfilling the following criteria
i. Export turnover and product acceptability.
ii. Suitability for export
iii. Preference will be given to first time participation of member exporters of handloom products and IHB registered holders provided their applications are received within the stipulated date mentioned in the circular
iv. Only one fair participation in a calendar month
v. Only a Maximum of two events per participant company under MAI in a financial year ( April- March ) including participation through other EPCs
vi. Earlier participation in the same event through Council not exceeding 3 times.
vii. Actual participation fee with the subsidy will be worked out and intimated on receipt of approval from the Ministry.
viii. Refund will be considered only in case of non-allotment of space to the applicant by HEPC or non-participation in the event by HEPC
7. Last date for receipt of application for "Expression of Interest" in Fair participation is March 31, 2020
