Council has been presenting Awards for best export performance of Handloom Products every year to motivate the member exporters and to enhance the export of handloom products.
Now, Council has proposed to honour the best exporters for the financial years 2016-17,2017-18, 2018-19,2019-20 & 2020-21 and inviting applications from the eligible members for issuing export awards during 29th export award function prior to the Reverse Buyer Seller meet to be held in March 2023. The exact date and time of the award function will be communicated in due course. The detailed guideline with application forms are enclosed herewith.

Shri T.V. Chandrasekaran, Chairman welcomed the Members/RTEs of the Council present in the meeting and briefed about the export statistics and the activities performed by the Council. He informed Members / RTEs that Shri Praveen Kumar, Director has been appointed by Department of Commerce as Observer, Shri N.A. Srinivasan, Advocate & Resolution Professional has been appointed by the Executive Committee as Scrutinizer & Shri N. Sreedhar, Executive Director of HEPC will be the Returning Officer to conduct the election to the post of Vice Chairman in a transparent manner. For more details click here >>
