Sir,Sub:Tapping of Textiles exports markets by India- reg:**************
Council has received communication from ministry seeking inputs /suggestions on the following:
1. Members exporters would be aware that Corona Virus epidemic has disrupted the supply chain of many products exported from China. In this situation, there is a need to be pro-active and ensure that the space vacated due to this unfortunate situation is filled by us for the forthcoming months. In this regard, we hereby enclosed the HS codes along with the product details in Table 1,2,3 where China has a substantial export compared with India. Hence, members exporting the products mentioned in the Table 1,2,3 may send their current manufacturing status along with details of total production and the current exports to forward it to the ministry.
2. Further, members are requested to send your views/suggestions/inputs to fill up the gaps of supply chain disrupted by Corana virus, where we can increase our supplies with the available capacity.
